Objective
Participants will operate a wrecker through a timed obstacle course. The goal is to safely complete the course as quickly as possible while demonstrating proper wrecker operation, control, and recovery techniques.
Starting Procedure
1. The vehicle will begin positioned on its side.
2. At the start signal, the participant must:
● Safely upright the vehicle onto all four wheels.
● Properly position and secure the wrecker.
● Hook onto the vehicle using the designated recovery equipment.
3. Once properly hooked, the participant will proceed through the designated obstacle course.
Finish
The clock will stop when:
1. The vehicle is completely backed into the designated finishing box.
2. The participant has safely stopped the wrecker.
3. The vehicle is properly unhooked from the wrecker.
Penalties
Time penalties will be added for:
●. knocking over cones.
● Contact with course boundaries or obstacles.
● Causing additional damage to the vehicle.
Disqualification
A participant will be disqualified if:
● The vehicle becomes unhooked from the wrecker at any point during the course.
● The participant operates the equipment in an unsafe manner.
● The participant intentionally causes additional damage to the vehicle.
● The participant fails to follow the instructions of the event officials.

Contestant will supply their own vehicle with a hitch.
Contestant will back their vehicle up to trailer attach trailer to vehicle and proceed through an obstacle course. Time will end after trailer is backed into designated parking spot. Time penalties will occur for hitting of cones or going off course. Participant will be disqualified if trailer comes un hitched during the event.
